I don’t know what it is about this location, but every single time someone here is just either lazy and gross, or has absolutely no idea how to do their job at all. I’ve never had such consistent issues at a simple gas station. The employee behind the counter this time was just lounging in a chair on the clock, And last time the same person didn’t even know how to apply rewards for use my gift card and I actually had to go to a different location. Get it together, please for your customers sake. Employee mentioned that this is so strict because it’s a franchise yet This particular location is so subpar. Just go to the Garrett Avenue down the road and avoid this place.

My son and his girlfriend ( young adults) visit this store as it’s in their neighborhood. Today 6/8/24 around 7:30 pm they stopped in for a few snacks. Store associate older heavy set woman asks the two of them during checkout “why is he not paying and you are?”
Gf replies “he has paid for our entertainment all day.”
What sales associate says this to their customers?!
Why is this even the sales associate business?!

Took my parents' car to the car wash on a Saturday. It has a conveyor belt in a narrow track for the left wheels. There's a mirror on the ground to help you guide the car into the track. I got the car in the track somehow because it was pulling the car along, but then the car was derailed and got stuck. The front wheel had crossed the track. I got out of the car and the big door stayed closed. I waved my arms at what looked like a security camera but nothing happened. An emergency button on the wall opened the big door. I went to the store and asked for help. They acted like it had never happened before, but someone came out and told me how to move the tires to back out. We didn't get a car wash. My stepmom asked for a refund ($8). The cashier said they can't give a refund and we'd have to talk to the manager on Monday. I asked for a phone number. The cashier scoffed and said she wasn't calling the manager. I explained that we needed the phone number to call the manager on Monday. She printed a receipt with the number. It was all very flustering. We didn't call the manager because it's only $8. I'll pay for a car wash somewhere else. Just wish the staff had been more friendly and helpful.

At 1245 in the afternoon on a Saturday there was no one working there and all the doors were locked. The customers in the parking lot were unhappy and we saw a sign on the door that said they would reopen at 2pm.

It would be nice if some kind of District Manager or Director of C-Stores would be able to go to a store in that situation and help until everything is back running.

I just went there to fill up, put my credit card in and it didn't work. I walked inside and this gruff woman named Amanda gave me attitude about it being pre pay only. Of course, I had put my cc in, and it even asked for my zip code, which I entered. This cashier lady was not nice and had no clue what customer service is. I decided to leave and fill up at the quick trip across the street. Don't patronize this establishment since they're mean and disgruntled.

We paid for a $14 car wash at this location. This car wash is one where you go on a track, and we must have done something wrong, so we were stuck in the car wash for a bit. We seemingly followed directions - went on the track, kept the car in neutral, and kept our foot off the brakes. A cranky older lady helped us reverse out, but then disappeared. We sat there for a bit wondering if we could get back into the car wash.

We called Speedway and the worker said he couldn’t refund us, only the manager could and he/she was not in today (Sunday). Confused on why only a manager could refund us, but regardless we won’t ever be stopping by again. There are plenty better car washes in Apple Valley to go to.

I went through the car wash and it tore off my back window wiper (broke the wiper arm). When I went in to make a claim the cashier had no idea what to do. I asked for the manager, in which I was told she only works Monday through Friday. Not sure what to do I called corporate and was able to submit my claim, corporate was great through the process. Over a month later (after I followed up on my claim with corporate) I received a voicemail from the manager informing me I can pick up my money at the store. When I called her back (after multiple attempts because she is never there) she was extremely rude and condescending, she told me the amount that was waiting for me which was 1/3 what my claim was for (and I have no idea where she even got the reimbursement amount). When I told her what the actual repair cost she proceeded to tell me that I "got screwed over" by the repair shop. In the end I got fully reimbursed, however, the service level here was horrendous. I will continue to use Speedway because of their corporate support in this instance, but I will NEVER return to this station. Corporate should be embarrassed of the way it is run!
